Join Cathy Wagner and Callie Martin from the MNIT ( Minnesota State IT) team for a case study and discussion on how having insights into Internal Transparency can have an impact on the IT Budgeting process and the resulting Budget, especially in the area of labor-management and planning.
Cathy Wagner is a financial program manager with MNIT Services for the State of Minnesota. She manages and directs enterprise financial programs and projects with sensitive financial data in the areas of strategic planning, budgeting, rate setting, invoicing, and reporting. She develops governance and technical data solutions based on federal and state fiscal policies. She was worked in a variety of roles managing public data for state agencies including enterprise-level IT financial data, educational testing, and statewide accountability data. She was originally a French teacher in a large suburban school district and has traveled extensively across Europe. She is very much enjoying the current opportunity afforded all state employees to work from home but wishes it were under better circumstances.
Callie Martin is a Management Analyst who is experienced in financial analysis, modeling, and benchmarking, using a variety of data sources to create cohesive data presentations to various end-users. Well versed in data verification and formatting for integration into third-party software systems, and skilled in data entry, database maintenance, and data visualization.
