Today’s IT Finance Manager/Analyst is required to understand Finance practices, operational IT data and data sources, as well as service portfolio management in order to help their organization thrive. They must have skills in modeling, data analytics, report design and creation, budgeting and planning, and strategic thinking. However, many Finance Managers and Analysts come to the role with a finance background and little to no experience with IT. Filling the gaps in IT knowledge can be a daunting task. This workshop will give you a primer on the basics of how IT and finance co-exist and explain terms and services in easy to understand concepts.
